Lupo

I decided to change things up a bit for this post, so I let Christina (Lupo’s guardian) do the talking.  Who better to describe Lupo’s personality than his best pal!  Christina owns and operates Brandy’s Holistic Centre & Canine Cafe which I think is a great place to find quality pet food, and best of all kick back and enjoy a coffee while your pooch runs around.

Tell me a bit about Lupo; How old is he, where did he come from, what kind of dog is he?

• Lupo is 3 years old, born September 15, 2008 we got him from a neighbour at our country place in Mont Laurier. The neighbour’s two dogs had their second litter together and unfortunately the mother rejected her puppies. We got Lupo at 4 weeks old because of this. Lupo’s father was a Labrador mixed with St-Bernard and his mother was a Cocker Spaniel mixed with a Collie. Therefore Lupo is a big mutt!!

What are some of his favourite pastimes?

• He loves to play fetch! He could play for hours and hours on end! He loves swimming in our pool and in the lake and he also loves to scare away the squirrels in our backyard.

Does he have any bad habits?

• He’s a really good dog, but he does have a few bad habits; barking is his biggest problem, a close second is drooling while he watches us eat (that’s the St-Bernard in him).

What is his most endearing quality?

• I think its his puppy dog eyes! and he loves to cuddle!

What are his favourite treats? toys?

• His favourite treats have to be buddy biscuits peanut butter flavor, pure bites liver flavour and just pretty much anything you could put peanut butter on. His favourite toys are anything that he could fetch really! Right now his favourite toy is Chuckit! Amphibious Ring (it’s a water frisbee).

Lupo is a mascot! Tell us a bit about Brandy’s?

• Brandy’s is a Natural and Holistic pet food store. We specialize in cat and dog food that is natural and/or organic! None of our foods have any by-products, corn, soy, wheat or anything else that may be harmful to our beloved pets! We also carry natural treats, supplements and grooming products as well as accessories! Brandy’s is located in the Plateau and it isn’t always easy to find parking in our area, therefore we also deliver and do online orders; we cover Montreal, Laval, Terrebonne and Brossard! Brandy’s is also a canine cafe where clients can come with their four legged friends and have a specialty coffee or tea while their dogs play with some toys and Lupo! Visit us at brandys.ca.
